On Saturday, March 7, 2026 our Big Red Bulls boys basketball program defeated Bellbrook High School 49-45 in the OHSAA Division III District Championship at the University of Dayton Arena! Our first District title since the 2018 season.
Hughes was led by sophomore, Le'Shawn Hill with 19 points, and junior, Jaionte Jones came up clutch with free throws late in the game.
Sophomore Dontrezz Shepard stepped up big and added a huge dunk to get the crowd into the game! Senior Malik Henderson made a big layup with under a minute to play to put the Big Red up.
Next up is the Regional Semi-Finals vs Badin High School on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 8pm at Cintas Center (Xavier University)
